Understanding Stamp Colour

Each stamp you roll has a colour value which is on a scale from 0 - 10. With 0 being the worst and 10 being the best. For this blog post we are going to look at Twilight Pass and talk about how its colour rating works.

Here is the original image that would be a perfect 10 if you were lucky enough to get it.

What you can see is that the stamp is tinted green and the colour value is 0.8. This shows that we got a bad colour roll. Bu in a lot of collectible games misprints like this are actually sometimes more sought after than really high quality printings.

But now is where it gets weird, the below stamp is 0.4, however it is pink! Why is that?

Well you have to understand the stamp actually rolls a hue value and that value can either be positive or negative. If it is positive in this case it is red and if it is negative it is green.

By adding in this variation it actually allows for you to try and collect all sorts of strange and wonderful combinations of stamps.
